IN THE COMMUNITY
Our lawyers, students and staff recognize that we have the power to effect change. One way for us to do this, is by investing time in our communities. These initiatives are
some of the most rewarding aspects of student life at Goodmans. Take a look!
MEALS-TO-GO AT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES
Goodmans articling students and associates volunteered an afternoon of their time at Ronald McDonald House Charities. They prepared "meals-to-go" to ease the financial and mental burden on non-local families who have children being treated at SickKids hospital, and who use the RMH space as a home away from home.

LAWYERS FEED THE HUNGRY
Goodmans regularly supports Lawyers Feed the Hungry by donating and volunteering at The Law Society of Upper Canada.
THE BIG BIKE -HEART & STROKE FOUNDATION
Our summer students recently joined the Goodmans team on the Big Bike in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, riding through the downtown core to raise awareness for heart health. Funds raised go towards initiatives like installing defibrillators and funding life-saving research across Canada!

BAY ST VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Goodmans students participate annually in the Bay St volleyball tournament. This year's cause was Moorelands Community Services, who offer leadership opportunities to under-privileged youth in Toronto!

VOLUNTEERING AT HANDS UP TORONTO
The summer students spent the day volunteering with Hand Up Toronto, an organization that partners with Global Medic to package food boxes for low income households with children and vulnerable youths.
PAWS IN THE PARK
Goodpups and Goodmans LLP was the highest fundraising team in the Toronto Humane Society's Paws in the Park fundraiser in August 2017.
Our articling students led the team to a total of $2375.00.
