Western Law (J.D.)
Queens University (B.A., Economics)
Jon came to Goodmans in the summer of 2018 after spending the previous summer at Groia & Company; a securities litigation firm. His journey to Goodmans started at Queen’s University where he studied economics. While at Queen’s, Jon did an exchange to the Netherlands. It was there that he took his first law class and (somewhat begrudgingly) accepted that he wanted to attend law school. After graduating from Queen’s Jon spent a year working in property management before attending Western for law. Yet property management wasn’t his only job.
Before studying at Western, Jon also worked as: a marketing analyst, a mosquito control technician, a crossbow instructor, and camp counsellor among other things. But most importantly Jon loves the outdoors (particularly camping and skiing), hockey, travelling, cooking and baking. He is on an eternal odyssey for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe.
